✔️ Types of Proposals
➡️ Lecture:
In addition to presentations by IRCAM teams, presentations by partners and Forum members on new technologies are welcome. Accepted presentations will be scheduled as part of dedicated sessions during the IRCAM Forum workshops, in a conference room equipped with Internet access, a stereo audio system, and a video screen.
Duration: 10 min setup + 20 min presentation + 10 min Q&A
➡️ Demo:
Demonstrations of IRCAM technologies by Forum members, computer-assisted music designers, and artists from around the world. The demonstration rooms will be equipped with at least a video projector and a stereo audio system, and several sessions dedicated to spatialized sound will take place in multichannel studios.
Note: Accepted demonstrations must not exceed the proposed maximum duration and must not require technical resources other than those available in the various spaces provided (see the technical specifications). A demonstration may take various forms, but under no circumstances should it be a concert!
Duration: 30 min setup + 20 min demo + 10 min Q&A + 10 min dismantling
➡️ Installation:
These are artistic or scientific projects, which may be interactive. They will be set up in a suitable space for a relatively long period (up to half a day), allowing participants to visit the installation during the demonstration or during one of the many short sessions scheduled (15 to 30 minutes each).
Duration: approximately 30–60 minutes for setup + presentation: less than half a day + 30 minutes for dismantling
➡️ Workshop:
A workshop is an interactive training session during which participants acquire practical skills on a specific topic. Led by experts, these workshops enable participants to gain practical knowledge through presentations, demonstrations, and interactive exercises. They encourage active learning and interaction with facilitators and other participants. Participants must register in advance so that the facilitator can prepare the workshop appropriately.
Duration: 10 min setup + 75 min + 5 min dismantling
➡️ Performance:
Duration: approximately 30–60 min setup + performance: maximum 30 min + 30 min dismantling
