Introduction

Conceived by Taiwanese artist SU Wen-Chi, Dancing Gravity is an experimental performance project on how to imagine and perceive abstract gravity in astronomy with the movement of dance, sound and light. Originated in Accelerate@CERNTaiwan (Geneva) in 2016 and supported by the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) in the U.S. 2019, its current working-in-progress Black Hole Museum + Body Brower is evolved with C-LAB Taiwan Sound Lab; inviting dancer, sound and VR artists jointly explore aspects of performing in a VR spacetime, along with reflections on the epidemic prevention and border control, on how we meet offsite. YiLab founded by SU Wen-Chi comprises new media and performance artists seeking to present new performing formats. Active in the global art scene, they have performed in Kunsten festival des arts (Brussels), La Bâtie(Geneva) and Performance Space (Sydney).
