As part of the IRCAM Forum Workshops in Seoul from 6 to 8 November 2024,
We are calling for your proposals for lectures, demos or student posters.
The Forum Workshops in Seoul will offer three days of lectures, demos and posters by Forum members, IRCAM developers and composers, researchers from Seoul National University as well as independent artists and students. We particularly encourage talks and demos on the themes of spatialization, sound processing, improvisation and artificial intelligence.
Deadline for submissions: 25 August 2024 midnight Paris time.

Types of proposals
Lectures: Outside of lectures on IRCAM technologies and artistic projects, we encourage lectures on recent artistic works proposed by Forum members in the field of new technologies. Accepted lectures will be scheduled in dedicated sessions during the Forum Workshops, in a conference room equipped with internet access, audio stereo and screen. Each speaker will be given approximately 20 minutes to present.

Demos: These are demonstrations based on the arts developed by Forum members, computer music producers and artists from around the world. Each demonstrator will be given around 20 minutes. Accepted demos will be scheduled in dedicated sessions during the Forum Workshops, in a room equipped with internet access, audio stereo and screen / No concert!

Posters: These are posters by students, artistic projects or artists from around the world.

Please use the form below, before the deadline of 25 August 2024 and send it to forum-event@ircam.fr. Presentations will be in English. If you have any questions about submitting a talk/demo or would like to send additional files, please contact us at forum-event@ircam.fr.
The Forum Workshops will take place over three full days. Proposals will be accepted for talks in English. The majority of presentations by IRCAM researchers and guest artists will be in English. The programme also includes a concert, a workshop, and lunches and cafés on 6 and 7 November.
