The work examines how musical and technological transformations reflect broader shifts in human perception and identity, tracing a sonic and visual journey across four interconnected eras of expression:
1. Traditional Iranian Music – Rooted in acoustic performance using the Setar, representing cultural origin and organic sound.
2. Analog Synthesis – Featuring instruments such as the ARP Odyssey and Monotribe, embodying the warmth and imperfection of early electronic sound.
3. Digital Signal Processing – Extending and transforming live sound through granular and concatenative synthesis in Max/MSP.
4. Real-Time Visual Generation – Using TouchDesigner to translate live audio into dynamic, generative imagery, merging sound and vision into an unique and immersive experience.

Moving with Time seeks to question how tradition adapts within digital environments and how contemporary tools can both distort and amplify cultural memory. By placing the Setar—a deeply
symbolic Iranian instrument—within an electronic and visual framework, the work reimagines heritage as a living, evolving entity.
