Deep Voice Paris
Deep Voice is the Parisian event dedicated to voice and artificial intelligence, which aims to bring together technical expertise and business/entrepreneurial innovation. The first edition, co-organized with Sorbonne University, the SCAI (Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence), and IRCAM, will take place on June 23-24. On the agenda: emotion and speech synthesis, with prestigious guests, networking, and technical training workshops organized by Nicolas Obin and Axel Roebel.
The first edition focuses on the theme of emotion with a presentation on expressive neural Text-to-Speech by Thomas Drugman, chief scientist in the Amazon TTS research team, and a panel discussion on "Assistants, emo/co-bots and virtual reality: how will emotion simulation change our emotional relationship with machines and our immersion in an artificial social world?"
