FORMAT:
- Weekly sessions on Saturdays via Zoom [May 2026 - December 2026]
- In-Person session week in Bled, Slovenia (EU), June 22–26, 2026; June 14-25, 2027 — Bled Contemporary Music Week
PROGRAMME PATHWAYS:
- Introduction to Research — for students and professionals entering formal research practice, including those seeking a structured framework without prior academic qualifications.
- Young Researchers — for students and professionals preparing for advanced research, including original portfolios, research proposals, clearly defined questions, and doctoral applications.
- Advanced Research Group — for PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and independent artist-researchers with established research portfolios seeking high-level dialogue and sustained peer review.
FACT FICTION is designed to formulate, prototype, test, refine, and mobilise original research through artistic practice, analytical inquiry, and critical reflection within a sustained international research community.
Research projects evolve through structured presentations, critical dialogue, peer review, and iterative refinement. The programme operates as a dynamic research ecosystem—supporting long-term project development while creating clear conditions for the articulation, application, and dissemination of research outcomes, including substantive contributions to artistic and scholarly knowledge.
