Souvenirs of IRCAM Forum Workshops Hors les Murs 2023 @Taipei

In Taipei, Taiwan, on October 18 and 19, a joint initiative by Forum IRCAM and C-Lab ignited two days of sound and technology exploration : through conferences, workshops, and ambisonic listening sessions, attendees gained insights into sound spatialization, processing, and artificial intelligence.

Mixage Fou 

Mixage Fou is a non-profit association dedicated to the art of sound creation, supported by a team of sound and listening professionals. 

Since 2009, the Mixage Fou competition has brought together over 1 000 creations, bringing together professionals and amateurs of all ages and nationalites.

The association regularly offers workshops and installations, mainly aimed at young audiences.

The Italian association ALEA is one of the four sponsors of the Forum 2024 Workshops. ALEA is a non-profit association that seeks to promote music in all its possible artistic, historical and cultural contexts.

Through the organisation of concerts, courses and other educational activities, ALEA organises events focusing on the dissemination of minority languages, the rediscovery of forgotten composers, reflection on the role of the artist in the field of environmental sustainability, the maintenance of historic instruments and their repertoire, the removal of barriers of gender and ethnicity, and the promotion of intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.
