How would Pierre Boulez compose with today’s tools? This creative workshop revisits his musical language using Max to reconstruct, manipulate, and transform motifs taken in Anthèmes 2 (1997), a piece for violin and electronics. Participants will develop interactive patches to experiment with live sound transformation, algorithmic processes, and dynamic control structures. The workshop fosters a creative dialogue between Boulez's modernist approaches and contemporary technological practices.
- a recent computer (Mac or Windows). Airdrop allowed for Mac users, a USB stick for Windows users.
- Max 8 or 9 installed and authorized + antescofo library installed from Ircam Forum website. »
