In this tutorial we strike a rectangular plate using a felt connection.

The plate objects are probably some of my favorites in modalys. The endless possibilities of material properties make them a great playground and what better way to celebrate it than with a bit of bling, making the plate out of sapphire ;-). The felt connection adds a great feature, although the different parameters stay a bit mysterious in their default values. Although it definitely sounds like a felt mallet it is not always a clear auditive result as described in the documentation.
