If you are a musician, sound engineer, composer, designer, if you work in research and development on new technologies, if you are professor or student, if you are professional or just aficionado you are very welcome to join us on this annual meeting at IRCAM in Paris.

The Ircam Forum workshops is a unique opportunity to meet the research and development teams as well as computer music designers and artists in residency at IRCAM. During these workshops, we will share news on technologies and expertise providing hands-on classes and demos on sound and music.

This meeting is a great place for participants to show their applications and new developments with technologies. Students are encouraged to present their projects and posters.

Highlights


During three days we will focus on Active Musicology, Artificial Intelligence,  New Instruments and Interfaces, collective interaction, bio art and art therapy, notation and perception.

The Ircam lab's will present software and projects news and the end of artistic residency projects of Marta Gentilucci, Pedro Garcia and Augustin Muller, Andrea Agostini.

We are welcoming several Forum member for their presentations and demos including:

During Ircam Forum workshops we organize an IRCAM Live event that is an electronic evening dedicated to musicians who play with the codes of the digital age and Ircam technologies and we'll meet the team of the new opera La Princesse Légère.

We'll take advantage of this event to announce the laureates of the Artistic Research Residency Program 2018-2019 !
