48 h of Sound Design
Sound designers were selected to create different sounds in 48 hours with the innovative tools introduced by the project SkAT-VG. During a guided tour on Saturday late afternoon, sound designers will present their creation and explain their work process. Sound creations will also be available, without the presence of the designers, during guided tours of Sunday, May 1st.
The SkAT-VG project aims at enabling designers to use their voice and hands, directly, to sketch the auditory aspects of an object, thereby making it easier to exploit the functional and aesthetic possibilities of sound.
