Monologue pour une araignée mécanique (lit. Monologue for a Mechanical Spider)

Performance for a musician playing an electro-acoustic instrumental architecture

As a part of a SACRe Phd, Marco Suarez-Cifuentes has developed the idea of instrumental architecture that he calls "Orgue arachnéen électroacoustique" (lit. Electro-acoustic spidery organ). This research through practice has led to a collaboration with the director Nieto and Nicolas Crosse, performer, and is an essential element in his thesis entitled "Interrelations, articulations et poétiques de l’espace instrumental, acoustique et électroacoustique" (lit. Interrelations, Articulations, and Poetry of Instrumental, Acoustic, and Electro-acoustic Space) under the direction of Fréderic Bevilacqua IRCAM, Luis Naon, and Stefano Gervasoni CNSMDP.
