By showing us the back offices of cinema The haunting melody invites the audience on a journey to the unknown world of listening and playing with our relationship with sound. Surrounded by instruments, by a record player, and mixing tables like a sort of laboratory, the characters tweak the sound material. Just like in chemistry, mixing elements can be neutral or explosive. The new creation by Mathieu Bauer inspired by the writings of the philosopher and musicologist Peter Szendy (Écoute, une histoire de nos oreilles and Tubes, La philosophie dans le juke-box, éd. de Minuit) and others asks the question: what if hearing revealed our relationship with the world?
A Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil - Centre dramatique national production with the support of the Jeune théâtre national and the Île-de-France region in the name of artistic permanence. With the support of the ONDA. An IRCAM-Centre Pompidou coproduction.

A delicate exploration of our sonorous territories, led by Benoit Artaud with students and an audience, to discover in an immersive experience in the theater's hall, before or after performances.
