Sound Software in Creation and Industrialization by AKL artists & Guillaume Piccarreta (Ircam)

This session is an opportunity to share examples of sound software used by sound artists and art company from France and Korea for artistic creation and business model development. We aim to discuss ways to utilize this softwares not only as a tool or business model but also as part of artistic works, exploring its multifaceted applications. Through the insights of three active professionals and one moderators in the sound field, we will share the direction in which sound software can advance in the realms of art and industry.

Modular and Interfaced Spat5 SPAT in Max for Live device “TSofL” by Jing-Shiuan Tsang

“TSofL” (the SPAT Operator for Live) is a branch of Max for Live devices that features a modular and interfaced SPAT model made within the Max for Live environment. For Ableton Live users, it allows for up to 32 stereo sources and 64 speakers to be performed simultaneously. TSofL contains several devices: TSofL SPAT, TSofL Room, TSofL Source, and TSofL Matrix.
