A look back at our presence at the Project Area stand at Sónar+D 2024

From 12 to 14 June 2024, we had the opportunity for the second year running to take part in Sónar+D, where we presented our software ASAP and RAVE.

We were delighted to meet some of our users from all over the world during these few days at Sónar+D.

We were able to exchange with DataMind, AudioStellar, and Intelligent Instruments Labwho use RAVE in their work.

RAVE (Realtime Audio Variational autoEncoder) is an audio processing and generation tool that uses deep learning to create fast, high-quality audio models, running 20 times faster than realtime at 48 kHz. Together with the nn~ decoder for Max and Pd, it enables applications such as audio generativity, transformation and timbre transfer.

We also met many ASAP users, including sound engineers, producers and artistic creators.

ASAP is a set of audio plug-ins for transforming sound in creative ways. It invites you to play with sound representation and synthesis parameters to generate new sounds. The plug-ins can also be used to correct sound defects and improve audio rendering. The integration of ARA2 allows spectral transformations to be incorporated into editing workflows.

But the Sónar Festival is also an opportunity to listen and discover artistswe really enjoyed the concerts by Rob Clouth, AIREmptyset, Richie Hawtin, VMO and Floating Points!
