Abo Abo
Abo Abo [Daniele Carcassi, 1993] is a sound artist, experimental performer, DJ and producer.
He has been performing and organising events since 2015, adapting to different situations, between underground, club and rave parties with agility and naturalness, offering techno, hypno, trance sounds.
As a performer and sound artist, his research is related to multichannel sound installations and the relationship between improvisation, modular synthesizer and turntables.
After a master's degree in sound design and a bachelor's degree in electronic music, he worked in the field of experimental performance and electroacoustic music, collaborating with various realities linked to research music. He has received two commissions from the Venice Biennale and now works in the educational sector, offering workshops and laboratories in electronic music.
He has presented his music in all kinds of contexts, in the form of dj sets, vinyl-only sets, sound installations and performances that have taken him to Canada, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Italy.
He is also actively involved in the new cultural realities linked to electronic music, as a resident of DE RIO and Florentino (a Florentine label) and as an events organiser.
