Biography

Oscleton is a mobile companion application for Ableton Live.

Its main goal is to provide a simple yet comprehensive wireless companion app to monitor and control your Ableton Live set mixing changes in real-time like device parameters, tracks volume and sends or browse your Live library to search, preview and load samples, clips, instruments presets in your Live set.

In this talk, I will explain the technical implementation of this solution, mainly focusing on a custom Ableton Live's MIDI Remote Script using the Live Python API which communicates with the mobile app through the Open Sound Control protocol.
