How can I join the IRCAM Forum community?

After creating a free account, you get access to IRCAM Free technologies.

Premium subscription

What is the Premium subscription?

The Premium subscription gives access to Premium technologies and member benefits (updates, discounts, etc.).

Are Premium benefits permanent?

Premium is a yearly subscription. Downloads, updates, and benefits are available while your membership is active.

Installed software remains usable after expiration, but updates and membership benefits stop.

How can I check if my Premium subscription is active and until when?

Log in to your profile.

  • A diamond on your profile icon indicates Premium status.
  • Start and end dates are shown on your profile page.
Is there a discount when renewing?

Yes, you get a 10% discount if you renew before your current subscription expires.

After expiration, renewal discount is no longer available.

How do I choose between Premium subscription types?

Eligibility conditions are defined in the license agreement. In short:

  • Premium Student: students only (student card required).
  • Premium Individual: individual usage.
  • Premium Education & Research: teaching/training/research usage.
  • Premium Companies: artistic production usage in organizations.
How many installations and users are included?

Premium Individual is for one user, with two options:

  • Premium Individual: 1 installation.
  • Premium Individual Plus: 2 installations.

Premium Education & Research and Premium Companies are multi-user offers with multiple plans. See also the license agreement.

Premium Education & Research / Companies: how do I manage users?

Your subscription is attached to an administrator Forum account.

Activation keys are assigned to the email addresses entered in the delegation form in your profile (not to the administrator email itself).

Can I remove an email from the delegation form?

Not in self-service at the moment.

Please contact customer support through the contact form and select Platform.

Orders

How do I generate a quote?
  • Log in to your shop account.
  • Add your products to the cart.
  • During checkout, select the quote option if available.

For quote-related requests (edit, regenerate, details), contact support and select Sales.

Your user account

How can I change my username?

Your username is defined when the account is created and cannot be changed directly.

For a change request, contact support through the contact form with the Platform type.

Can I change the email address used for my Forum account?

Yes. Add an email here: auth.ircam.fr/accounts/email.

Once verified, you can set it as your primary email.

If your account is blocked, contact support through the contact form (Platform).

How can I reset my password?

Use the password reset form: auth.ircam.fr/accounts/password/reset.

If needed, contact support (Platform).

Where can I find my order history?

You can access your order history here.

Software download and authorization

Where can I download software?

Premium software is available from project pages on the Forum website.

ASAP products (full bundle and plugins) are also available here.

How does plugin authorization work?

While your subscription is active, you can authorize software and download updates.

After expiration, installed versions remain usable, but you lose access to updates and new authorizations.

Is software installation permanent?

Yes, software stays installed on your machine. Access to updates and membership benefits depends on an active subscription.

Authorization transfer: can I deauthorize one machine and authorize another?

Self-service deauthorization is not available for already activated machines.

If you plan a machine change, choose an offer that includes multiple installations.

What happens if I change computer?

Authorization is machine-based. A new machine requires a new activation/license depending on your plan.

Can an OS update deactivate my authorization?

An OS update should not deactivate authorization.

However, machine cloning or hardware change can require new activation and may trigger errors such as 0xA00010.

I cannot download software or activate my license. What should I do?
  • Make sure you are logged in with the correct email address.
  • Refresh, clear browser cache, or try a private window.

If the issue remains, contact support (Platform).

My activation key does not appear in my profile after purchase

The key is usually available immediately.

  • Check you are connected with the correct account.
  • Refresh the page or clear your browser cache.

If still missing, contact support (Platform).

I get an error when activating ASAP
  • Check that you are using the correct activation key.
  • Check your subscription status.
  • Check your internet connection.

If the error persists, contact Platform support and include OS, software version, and the exact error message.

ASAP

How many installations are included with ASAP Full Bundle or ASAP plugins?

ASAP Full Bundle and ASAP plugins include 1 installation (1 device).

If you need 2 installations, choose ASAP Full Bundle Plus.

How do I activate ASAP?

Once downloaded here, activate ASAP using your key from your profile page.

  • Download the ASAP authorization file from your shop profile page by clicking on "Download ASAP key": https://forum.ircam.fr/shop/en/profile.
  • Save the file in the folder of your choice.
  • Open one of the ASAP plugins in Ableton Live (except Spectral Clipping, Spectral Remix and Formant Shaping, which are free plugins).
  • Click on "Demo" or select "Authorize..." in the menu.
  • Drag and drop the authorization file in the authorization window, or select it manually.
  • The ASAP plugins should now be authorized.
ASAP activation error (for example 0xA0000A / expired key)

If the tool reports an expired or ineligible key, please contact technical support with full error details.

I reinstalled my system and ASAP does not activate anymore. What should I do?

After a clean reinstall, previous activation may still be counted.

If your quota is reached, contact support to manually release an activation.

My computer is broken/lost. Can I reactivate ASAP on a new machine?

Yes, but the previous activation must be released by support first. This cannot be done in self-service. Please contact our team.

Can I deactivate a machine myself to free one activation?

No. Self-service deactivation is not available. Only support can release an existing activation. Please contact our team.

What does “Activation limit reached” mean?

It means your license has reached the maximum number of allowed activations. Contact support so we can review your case.

Does an OS update deactivate ASAP?

No, a regular OS update should not deactivate ASAP.

Machine replacement or cloning, however, requires a new activation. Please contact our team.

Audiosculpt

Is Audiosculpt still supported?

Audiosculpt is no longer maintained and development has been discontinued.

We recommend using ASAP instead.
