All Forum Technologies

OpenMusic (OM) is a visual programming language based on Lisp. Visual programs are created by assembling and connecting icons representing functions and data structures. Most programming and operations are performed by dragging an icon from a particular place and dropping it to an other place. Built-in visual control structures (e.g. loops) are provided, that interface with Lisp ones.

All Forum Technologies

Spat (or Spatialisateur in French) is a real-time spatial audio processor that allows composers, sound artists, performers, and sound engineers to control the localization of sound sources in 3D auditory spaces. In addition, Spat provides a powerful reverberation engine that can be applied to real and virtual auditory spaces. The processor receives sounds from instrumental or synthetic sources, adds spatialization effects in real-time, and outputs signals for reproduction on an electroacoustic system (loudspeakers or headphones).

Computer Music Designer : Huihui Cheng / Computer Music Production : Mikhail Malt / Pedagogical supervision : Grégoire Lorieux (IRCAM), Hae-Sun Kang (Conservatoire de Paris)

Me Du Ça gets its inspiration from the figure of a jellyfish, metaphor guideline of this piece. The flutes / pipes thus represent the snakes that took the place of the hair of the mythological figure. Its sounds of Aeolian whistling, noisy air, also seek to evoke the reptilian universe of the jellyfish in a fragmentary way, thus disorienting linear perception.
